Biddeford Pool Yacht Club is a small, 100 family, private club on Saco Bay, about 20 miles south of Portland, Maine. The Club is located in the village of Biddeford Pool, a small, coastal community which features a two-mile sandy beach, great natural beauty and a strong sailing tradition. Biddeford Pool is within 10 minutes of Kennebunkport, 1/2 hour of Portland, and 2 hours of Boston.
BPYC hosts a vibrant sailing program for youths and adults, members and non-members from the City of Biddeford. Beginners sail in fleets of Vanguard Prams and Optimists, while more advanced sailors sail 420's and Rhodes 18's.
