Community Boating Junior Program Instructors

Community Boating Inc. is looking for one more instructor for the remainder of our 10-week long Junior Program. Instructors will mainly teach beginner and intermediate level classes in Cape Cod Mercuries (15 foot centerboard dinghies). The ideal candidates are flexible, able to multi-task, have excellent time management skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. All instructors split time between teaching classes and supervising the dock and free sail program.

Working at CBI is one of the most unique and fun opportunities in Junior Sailing – it’s not a camp, and certainly not your typical yacht club. Community Boating Inc. is the oldest public sailing facility in the country and serves over 2,000 children each summer from throughout the Greater Boston Area, especially children that might not otherwise have the opportunity to sail.

The 2010 season will run through August 20th. US Sailing Level 1 certification required, launch tender’s license a plus. Competitive pay.
