Sailing Instructor

The Commonwealth School, an independent high school, seeks a sailing coach for the fall 2010 season (Sept. and Oct.) with a valid US SAILING Level 1 Instructor certification. The Commonwealth School is a recreational/instructional member of the Massachusetts Bay League and uses the facilities at Community Boating in Boston, MA for sailing lessons. Commonwealth School’s sailing program is offered only during the fall season for recreation and instruction; the purpose of the program is to teach students the basic fundamentals and technical skills of sailing. The coach will provide instruction to 8-10 students at Community Boating on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons during the fall season; sessions run from 3 to 5 pm.

Sailing will be held on the following dates:

SEPTEMBER: 13, 15, 20, 22, 29

OCTOBER: 1, 4, 6, 8, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29
