The J/35 is one of just 16 boats inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame, for excellence in design and product ingenuity. Surprise is fully optimized for both cruising and racing. For cruising, she has teak cabinets in the main cabin, a bulkhead table, recent cushions, full dodger, pressure hot and cold water plus a Vacu Flush head. For racing she has a VC Offshore bottom wet sanded to 400, and seven North sails purchased in 2009 but lightly used, plus B & G sailing instruments and Furuno Navnet plotter radar.
Awlgripped in 2010, the hull, the decks, and the brightwork are all in first class condition.
Owner is moving up, and Surprise is ready for a very lucky new skipper.
